During my recent stay at Junqueira76 Guesthouse in Póvoa de Varzim, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities and charming atmosphere that this establishment offered. The spacious communal kitchen was a delightful surprise, allowing us to prepare meals together-a rare treat for me as an archaeologist who often dines out amidst my travels. Our room had a cozy patio and a flat-screen TV, which made for a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The guesthouse's proximity to notable beaches, merely a short walk away, made it ideal for leisurely strolls during our downtime. The host, ever so accommodating and friendly, even packed us delightful breakfasts to enjoy on the go, reminiscent of the best hospitality I have experienced in my work across the Middle East.
